    On the vast Slavonian plains people have been cultivating fertile black soil for centuries, earning Slavonia the nickname “breadbasket of Croatia”.

    Slavonia has always been known for pig farming, a tradition to which the mild continental climate contributed a great deal. Each summer morning, the golden fields of wheat bathe in the sunshine.

    Crystal clear creeks refresh green meadows, while the wind gently sways the oak and poplar trees, blowing the scent of freshly mowed hay through the vast plaints. It is precisely such natural environment that makes the meat of Slavonian pigs so delicious.
